Fellicia Cota M.A., ATR-BC
Fellicia is a Board Certified Art Therapist experienced in both individual and group counseling for children, adolescents and adults. In addition to therapy, she offers art classes, groups and open studios to the surrounding communities.
Fellicia believes in the power of creativity and the healing that can be discovered through art therapy. Together, she and clients navigate through art mediums such as pencil, marker, collage, clay and paints to explore strengths and struggles that impact their internal and external worlds. It is through the process of art creation that progress can be found.

Experience
Art Therapy in Schools and in the Community
For the past 18 years, Fellicia has had the pleasure of working with children and families in many roles and settings. The bulk of her experience includes supporting children and their needs with art therapy services in both school and community mental health settings. In 2017, Fellicia began her private practice, Creative heART Counseling, LLC which has been a lifelong goal.
As the practice grew, she added non-clinical community classes for both children and adults. In 2020, the office relocated to a larger building, which allowed shared office space with additional therapists.
In 2023, a commercial space was purchased, allowing the private practice (Creative heART Counseling, LLC) and newly created nonprofit (The Creative heART, Inc) to relocate one final time.
Fellicia continues to explore ways to expand the variety and quality of services offered to the community, through community partnerships and collaborations. In addition, Fellicia maintains professional memberships to the Art Therapy Credentials Board, the American Art Therapy Association, and the Art Therapy Association of Vermont.
